Richard has divided his furniture for the home into two styles, contemporary (more modern, often using lighter woods) and traditional (generally described as reproduction). As you will see from the pieces shown Richard uses inlay extensively, a small amount of inlay can dramatically lift a fairly ordinary piece of furniture. He also uses carving which is often necessary when providing exact copies of antiques whether for extra dining chairs or the copying of valuable pieces. Corporate work is mainly boardroom type furniture and can include tables, chairs, cabinets, and lecterns with your crests or logos inlaid into the furniture. Richard can also tackle simpler jobs such as restaurant/pub tables (bearing in mind that he only works with solid timber). |
